Not by my wife, but by my gaming group! :what:

One of them spoke up and said "You own a lot of great games, but every other week you have a new one, no time to play the great ones you have! Knock it off!"

I don't know what to do, I mean I could slow down, but wouldn't the shakes set in after a month? :wow:

You need a second game group.

More like after 2 weeks. It's not easy to stop the gaming addiction! :meeple:::meeple::meeple:

And yet your collection only shows 96 games. That's clearly not enough.

Generally what happens is I buy a new one every two weeks, but I've a small back log of games.

As for 96, it's closer to 55, as 20 of them are just expansions to Silent Death, then there is the Carcassonne collection...

I feel your pain... My gaming group is complaining about the amount of games I own.. "Jeez... doesn't it bother you we can't play all of these.." "I thought the last game was your last..."

What is worse, my group has migrated to D&D 4th Edition recently... :soblue:

To counter, I've even unleashed Agricola and Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition on them and they are still getting sucked into the orb of role playing again... ;)

I think I might cry... :(

I'd kill a man to Roleplay! I've about five systems I've never played, and for two of them nearly complete sets of the books. *sigh*:(

55 games? That is all?

Or is that like... 60 games after you convert it to American.

I'm with you brother. My wife says this to me every time I come home with a bag of games. I call my purchases "research". She has a different name for it. For some reason her terminology totally escapes me at this moment. If you will excuse me, I need to get my fix. :what:

Or a third.

Or just stop inviting the naysayers.

I handed out a demotivator once to my group. Sometimes the best way to improve morale is fire all the unhappy people.

While ordering cardsleeves yesterday, I needed to add just $14 to the order to get free shipping. Shenomad (who was navigating the Korean-language site for me) hit "Go to checkout" before I could intervene and throw in a copy of Transamerica.

I broke out in a rash.

My girlfriend and I got into it. We collect a lot of games now too and find it hard to keep up with playing the games we have as well. Personally I'd rather not buy so many ameritrash games because they tend to be the most exhaustive to sit down and play but I digress.. they're too pretty to resist sometimes.

The problem may be related to the group being overwhelmed by needing to learn new rules every session.

You could start a "game of the month", and select a different game each month to play at every session. That way your group can get really comfortable with the rules and strategy of at least one and not have to worry about learning all new games each night of playing.
